Snow Removal from Downtown Area
Snow removal operations will occur in the downtown area on January 28.
What: Snow will be removed from parking areas and hauled away.
Where: Main Street from North Buckmarsh Street to Chalmers Court
North Church Street from Academy Street to Main Street
South Church Street from Crow Street to Main Street
Crow Street
When: Parking in the areas identified above will be prohibited from 11:00 p.m. on January 27, 2026 until the operation is completed on a particular street section.
Snow staging operations will begin after 12:00 a.m. on January 28.
Snow removal/hauling operations will begin after 6:00 a.m. on January 28.
Operations will continue until the task has been completed.
The traveling public is asked to avoid street sections where snow removal operations are underway. If you are in the vicinity of these work areas, then please adhere to work zone restrictions and watch for work vehicles and Public Works personnel.
