Water/sewer billing period longer than normal
Water bills were mailed today.
The recent snow storm delayed the water meter reading. As a result of the delayed reading, the current billing period is longer than normal. Typically, billing periods are around 30 days, and this cycle the billing period is 40 days.
Because the billing period is approximately 10 days longer than normal, customers may have a higher bill than they have in a typical month.
