A water leak has developed in the first block of North Church Street.
Work to repair the leak is scheduled to occur on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
The public should expect:
Street closure:
North Church Street from Main Street to Academy Street
Water service interruption:
North Church Street between Main and Liberty Streets
Bundy Street
Barnett Street
Osborne Street
Academy Street between North Buckmarsh and North Church Streets
Schedule:
February 3, 2021
Street closure will begin at 8:00 a.m.
Water service disruption may occur at any point after 8:00 a.m. and may last as long as 6 hours.
If the water leak worsens, then it may be necessary to accelerate the repair schedule without further notice.
As with all water service interruptions, if after water service has been reestablished you have cloudy water or air entrained in the water from your faucet, please run the cold water until it clears.
