Boil Water Advisory Rescinded
As of 10:00 a.m. on 05/01/2025, the Boil Water Advisory that was issued for 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,20,21,22,23,24,26,30,32 E. Main St. and 1,2,3,4,5,6,9,11,13,17 S. Church St. on 04/29/25, has been lifted.
The Boil Water Advisory in question was issued on 04/29/2025 after service interruption and loss of water pressure to the affected customers.
A series of bacteriological samples were collected and sent to a state certified lab. All samples collected on 04/29/2025 and 04/30/2025 were absent of both total coliform and E. coli bacteria. Accordingly, the required advisory may be lifted.
Following flushing the service line and premise plumbing, residents can safely resume normal use of their tap water. To properly flush your water service and premise plumbing, open the cold water tap in all the sinks and run the water for three minutes. This will ensure that all your plumbing contains fresh water.
