 Water Maintenance Work

 

Location of affected areas:    

                                    36 East Main Street (Smithy Cottage)

                                    Crow Street 15 & 16

                                    South Church St: 20,21,110,114,116,122,115,121,123,125,127

                                    Smithy Lane 8A & 8B

                                    Rose Hill Park

                                    Barns of Rose Hill

                                    Berryville Medical

                                    Dollar General Store

Dates and time of water

Interruption:

Water service interruption is expected from Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 9:00 p.m. through Friday, June 6, 2025 at 6:00 a.m.

                                    at the Town Business Office 540.955.1099 (8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.)

 

Project Summary:

                                    Town personnel will:

  • Install new water valves for a water main upgrade project

 

What should be expected

during the project?

                                    During the project people in the area will experience:

                                    water service interruption and typical construction-related noise, vibration,          

                                    and dust.

                                                NOTE: Rock will have to be removed during the project by use of hoe

                                                ram and jack hammer. It is expected that the majority of rock removal will occur      

                                                between the hours of 9:00 P.M. and midnight.

                                    

When water service is restored, you may experience air in your service line or cloudy

                                    water. If this occurs, run the cold side of your faucet until the water clears.
