[ARCHIVED] Water Service Interruption Notice

In order to upgrade a water main in your area we will need to interrupt water service to your property. This interruption will occur on Tuesday June 12, 2018, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Please note these times are approximate and may vary depending on working conditions.

Addresses affected by water interruption:

Rice Street from Walnut to West Main

Academy Street from North Buckmarsh to Academy Court

Treadwell Street from North Buckmarsh to Willow Lane

One water service is restored, you may experience air in your service or cloudy water. If this occurs, run the cold side of your faucet until the water clears.

Helpful hint: Filling your bathtub with several gallons of water before the interruption may help with some household needs (for non-potable water) during the outage.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will restore water service as soon as possible in the affected areas. If you have any questions you may call the Department of Public Works at 540.955.4843.
