Milling and paving on Buckmarsh Street (U.S. Route 340) by Virginia Dept. of Transportation contractors is now expected to begin on the evening of Sunday, October 4.
The Virginia Dept. of Transportation has issued the following statement:
(NEW) Route 340 (Lord Fairfax Highway) – Flagger controlled lane closures for milling operations from south of Berryville Town Limits to north of Town Limits (1.05 miles), 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Estimated completion October 6. Flagger controlled lane closures for paving, shoulder stone and pavement marking operations continue in the same work zone, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Estimated completion October 9.
