Water Service Interruption Notice

Thursday, May 25, 2023

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (approximate work hours)

A water service interruption will be necessary in order to repair a water main that supplies water service to your residence or business. This interruption will occur on Thursday May 25 , 2023  between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Please note that these times are approximate and may be extended, depending on working conditions.

If an interruption of water service occurs and when water service is restored, you may experience air in your service or cloudy water.  If this occurs, run the cold side of your faucet until the water clears.

Helpful hint: Filling your bathtub with several gallons of water before the interruption may help with some household needs (for non-potable water) during the outage.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will restore water service as soon as possible in the affected areas.  If you have any questions, you may call the Department of Public Works at 540-955-4843.
