Has Been Postponed
The Town Council work session that was scheduled for May 6, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. to review a proposed rezoning of property north of Battletown and Bel Voi Drives has been postponed at the request of the applicant. The applicant requested the postponement because they are working to refine their proposal.
The areas of the proposal purportedly being examined/refined include the proposed transportation and utilities improvements. The applicant is working to better define the proposed development’s street network, principally the location of the street that would connect the eastern and western portions of the proposed development. The applicant is also working clarify the location of required utilities, chiefly a sewer main that would connect the eastern and western portions of the proposed development.
The Town Council will set a new work session date and time at their regular meeting on May 14, 2024. After the Town Council has rescheduled the work session, a notice providing the details of that meeting will be posted on the Town’s website (www.berryvilleva.gov).
